A Conservatorship/Guardianship facilitation is a structured discussion among the parties that focuses on critical questions that need to be addressed or answered regarding a vulnerable adult in an upcoming conservatorship/guardianship hearing.
The purpose of the facilitation is to bring the parties together to gather information and determine what information is still needed prior to the Conservatorship/Guardianship Hearing. This will provide the Court with sufficiently detailed information to make a decision that is in the individual's best interest regarding safety, well-being, and financial interests. The facilitation will focus on preserving autonomy, self-determination, and informed consent for adult parties.
